Gu Ping's speech mentioned that currently, China is facing a complex economic environment. In particular, the relevant tariff policies of the United States have exacerbated the slowdown in global economic growth and caused severe disruptions in cross-border supply chains. This has also prompted China to undertake economic transformation and reform, by seeking new breakthroughs in technological innovation to seize the opportunities for future development. From the operating conditions of the textile machinery industry from January to May this year, it can be seen that the main operating indicators of the textile machinery industry still increased, indicating that the development space of the industry is still broad. The textile machinery industry has developed from single-machine automation to an overall solution provider for complete equipment, promoting the rapid response and flexible manufacturing capabilities of customized equipment. At the same time, the construction of fully automated factories with no human intervention, the application of green and sustainable technologies, and the research and development of equipment oriented towards circular economy, have become new directions for industry development. Regarding the next step of the development of the textile industry, it will focus on three major directions: high-performance fibers, intelligent equipment, and technical textiles, in order to achieve the goals of high-endization, greenization, and intelligentization. Currently, the association is actively promoting the national key research and development project "Online Detection Sensors and System Application for Key Processes in Yarn Production", by overcoming key technologies, to further enhance the international competitiveness of domestic textile machinery and yarn products, and to ensure the high-quality and sustainable development of the industry. In addition, the association is deeply studying and pre-researching the "Fifteen-Five" development guiding opinions for the textile machinery industry to guide future industry development.
he meeting invited Lu Zhihua, the chief expert of Shaanxi Changling Textile Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd., to introduce the technical details of the textile equipment exhibits at the 2024 International Textile Machinery Exhibition. From the physical exhibits of the participating instruments, it can be seen that textile enterprises are increasingly attaching importance to product quality and have higher requirements for textile equipment. Enterprises are continuously launching new products by increasing investment in research and development. Some are old products with new functions added, and the coverage of products is also expanding. Especially with the introduction of AI technology, the performance indicators and technology of textile equipment have been raised to a new level. Through detailed introduction of the principles and performance of new textile equipment products in the categories of fibers, filament, yarn, and fabric, it provides reference and guidance for instrument enterprises and users. Finally, it is suggested that enterprises should focus on the original research on the testing mechanism of instruments, exploring innovation in aspects such as instrument detection methods, implementation means, and model algorithms. At the same time, they should strengthen the detection of the structure, form, and performance of products under dynamic conditions to meet the real-time monitoring requirements during the product processing process and expand the application scope of the instruments.
The meeting invited Professor Sun Runjun from Xi'an Polytechnic University to introduce the development trends of textile testing instruments. He mentioned that the application fields of textiles are constantly expanding, and the performance and functional requirements of textiles have significantly increased. However, in the process of textile testing, there are still problems such as high equipment procurement and maintenance costs, insufficient energy consumption control in the testing process, sample loss and repeated testing. These issues pose new requirements for textile instruments. Over the years, textile instruments have made significant progress, achieving equipment upgrades through means such as industrial robots, integrated design, high-precision sensor development, and data acquisition systems. Finally, suggestions were made for the development of textile testing instruments, hoping that enterprises can establish a talent pipeline covering basic theory, instrument development, standard formulation, and result application. Standards should be in line with international standards, and at the same time, the concept should be transformed to adapt to the development and application of instruments under the requirements of new textile materials, new functions, and special environments in the future. The instruments should not only be able to detect but also be capable of effective analysis, and improve the service support capabilities.
Ding Wensheng summarized the work of the Textile Instrument Association for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. The main contents of this year's association work included the introduction of textile instrument standards and industry services, the introduction of the international textile machinery exhibition, and the guiding opinions on the development of textile instruments during the "15th-16th Five-Year Plan". When talking about the standard work, there are currently 25 industry standards for textile instruments, while there are hundreds of types of instruments. The instrument standard system is not yet complete. Ding Wensheng hopes that instrument enterprises, testing and measurement institutions, and educational institutions can actively take the lead in applying for textile instrument standards every September, further improving the textile instrument standard system. By formulating or revising industry standards, the technical level and innovation ability of the standards can be effectively enhanced, providing strong support for the development of the instrument industry. When introducing the situation of the international textile machinery exhibition, Ding Wensheng shared the overview of the 2024 international textile machinery exhibition. At the same time, he mentioned that the registration for participation in the 2026 international textile machinery exhibition was officially launched on June 18, 2025. Participating enterprises can log in to the exhibition's official website www.citme.com.cn to submit their participation applications online.
Regarding the "15-19" development guidance for textile instruments, Ding Wensheng provided a detailed introduction from aspects such as the sources of textile instruments during the "15-19" period, the review of the "14-20" period, the development trends and goals of the "15-19" period, and the key tasks of the "15-19" period. Although textile instruments achieved certain accomplishments during the "14-20" period, with the continuous emergence of new textile processes, materials, and technologies, not only have updated and higher requirements been put forward for the content and methods of detection, but also more detection means and methods have been provided for the instruments. The "15-19" period of textile instruments will develop towards the directions of refinement, humanization, automation, multi-functionality, and intelligence. Instrument products will be more commonly applied with technologies such as photoelectric detection, image visual technology, industrial robots, artificial intelligence, and Internet technologies.
